MY PRECIOUS

NARRATOR: In a small Barangay in Olongapo City there lived a young  sweet girl named Trixie.She came from a poor family with a sick mother and a little brother.Her father died before her brother was born.Their mother raised them alone by accepting laundry around the neighborhood until such time she got sick and stay in bed.Enable for them to survive,Trixie sings anywhere in the street and ask the listeners to give her a little amoun,t so she can buy a food and medicine for her mother because she has a very sweet voice and very passionate she collected enough amount everyday for them to survive. As she was the bread winner in the family,she wasn't able to finish in her study.When she reached at her legal age a bar owner saw her singing while interpreting the lyrics of her song in dancing and he was really amused on what he saw so he hired her to sing and dance in the bar.

Mr. Lee: (THE BAR OWNER)

 Hi,I'm Mr. Lee i owned a bar in the City would you like to sing there,I will give you a good salary.

Trixie: Bar  Sir? I am a decent lady,I can't work in a bar.

Mr. Lee: It's a wholesome bar you don't need to entertain the costumer you just have to sing and  dance like what you did recently.

Trixie: I see,can you give me a time so I can ask my mother for permission?

Mr. Lee: Of course,here is my calling card if you're interested just call me or you can come to my bar.

Trixie: Okay Sir,thanks for the offer.

NARRATOR: She hurriedly went home so she can ask her mom about it.

Trixie: I was offered to sing in the bar by a certain Mr. Lee and he will going to give me a good salary,we could save money for your surgery if i will accept it.

Mom: I am afraid about your safety Trixie there might be something not good will happen to you if you will work there.

Trixie: But mom I was in the street more than half of my whole life,I know already how to keep myself safe so don't worry.I need this for you and for to have a much better life.

Mom: If that's what you think is right Trixie,it's up to you but please be very careful and  always pray for guidance and protection.

Trixie: Okay mom,don't worry about me,I'll be fine.

NARRATOR: The very next day,she went to Mr. Lee's bar to tell him that she will accept his offer.

Mr. Lee: You will never regret this Trixie you may start tomorrow,I just need to prepare dresses for you and everything you need for the show.

Trixie: Okay Sir, thanks a lot..I'll do my best.

NARRATOR: She was a bit nervous to go out in the stage,she was used to sing in the street for a little amount but not in the crowd of rich people.She looks stunning in her short and fit red dress with her simple but beautiful make up.Her shiny straight her and flawless skin  give her looks more attractive to anyone's eye.After the MC called her name she walk slowly in the center of the stage while convincing herself that she can do this.The music's start and makes her feel like she needs to go with the beat.She close her eyes for awhile like she doesn't see anybody  and started to sing.(There's a hero....) While in the dark corner there was this American tourist who  just have a drink to unwind.He  is Mr. Smith a rich businessman who just came to the country for a business deal.As he drink his wine he stared at Trixie all the time,he likes her a lot.Her sweet voice,her body movements,her looks.He keep coming back in the bar just to see Trixie in the stage but he never approached her then  after a week he's following her to her house to know where she is living.When he saw her entering a small house that is about to collapse any moment,he pity her.In the next night he approached Mr. Lee to ask Trixie to just have a talk with him in the table  and because of his politeness Trixie went to his table after her last show for that night but of course with Mr. Lee's presence.

Mr. Lee: Mr. Smith her name is Trixie,Trixie he is Mr. Smith.

Mr. Smith: I'm glad to meet you Trixie,please sit down.

Trixie: Likewise Sir,how may I help you?

Mr. Smith: Nothing I just want to know you better,would you like some drinks or food?

Trixie: just a glass of juice for me.

Mr. Smith: How about you Mr. Lee?

Mr. Lee: No,thanks but can I leave you for awhile Trixie I'll just need to do something there but I'll be one call away if you need something.

Trixie: Okay boss,I'll be fine.

Mr. Lee: Excuse me Mr. Smith.

Mr. Smith: No problem Mr. Lee,thank you.

NARRATOR: That was the start of their closeness,they always get along every after the show till Mr. Smith ask her to marry him without  courting her so Trixie was very surprised but because Mr. Smith is really a good gentleman,she can't say no to him.She accepted the proposal with no doubt.And because of that the bachelor need to extend his tourist visa for their wedding.He send her mom to a private hospital for her surgery. Everything was set for their wedding and Trixie still couldn't believe what fate brought for her.

Though here mom was still in the wheelchair she witnessed and attended the most life changing event ever,she was so grateful to Mr. Smith for choosing and loving Trixie and to God for giving them the man that gives them more than what they deserve.After the wedding he bought a big house for Trixie's mother and brother,he also hired a private nurse for her mom until she could fully recovered.After the honeymoon he flew back to the US to sell his property so he could settle in the Philippines for good since his business deal of partnership with a very big furniture company was being approved.He returned after 3 months and he was so happy for the good news Trixie told him,that she is 3 months pregnant.Trixie give birth with a very cute baby girl and they live happily ever after.
